Schedule of Events for the 57th Presidential Inauguration

The following is the updated schedule of events for the 2013 inauguration of President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. MONDAY, JANUARY 21 Ceremonial Swearing-In Ceremony Location: Capitol Hill Start Time: 11:30 AM ET On Monday, the President and Vice President will be sworn in the traditional ceremonial swearing in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol that is open to the public. On Monday, President Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term of office. Will you watch the ceremony and inaugural festivities.

On Monday, Jan. 21, President Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term as president. Actually, his official swearing in will take place in private ceremony the day before, on Jan. 20, as set out in the Constitution. But since Jan. 20 is a Sunday, the inaugural festivities will be delayed by one day, as is traditional, to Jan. 21.  Starting at 11:20 a.m. (EST) - viewers of the Presidential Inauguration will be treated to all the pomp and circumstance, including a ceremonial swearing in, inaugural address, parade and national anthem sung by Beyonce. The inauguration will be carried on all major networks.
