Fight Lands Seven in Jail
Seven men were booked into the Oconee County Jail Saturday on charges of disorderly conduct after a fight outside of Pinewood Estates South mobile home park. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
Seven men were taken into custody and drugs and a gun were seized outside of Pinewood South mobile home park on Epps Bridge Road Saturday morning, Oconee County Sheriff's deputies report. When they arrived on the scene around 12:30 a.m., deputies say they saw the men in the middle of a confrontation. Three of the men ran toward a white Chevy Impala and the other four attempted to run in another direction but were stopped by a deputy near the entrance of the park. Once the men were detained, deputies searched the area and vehicles for a gun that had reportedly been shot several times.
