After being home for just three days, Tripp Halstead, a Winder toddler critically injured in October when a tree limb weighing several hundred pounds fell and struck him in the head, has been hospitalized so doctors can monitor his liver enzymes. Tripp was transported via ambulance Monday morning, according to a post on the Facebook page where his family provides updates on his condition. His mother, Stacy Halstead, posted a couple hours later that Tripp had undergone X-rays and lab tests and was preparing for an ultrasound. After five long months and multiple surgeries, Tripp Halstead, a Barrow County toddler seriously injured in October when a tree limb fell and struck him in the head, is back home, according to a post on the Facebook page where the family provides updates on his condition. "I held my breath till we actually walked through the door at moms house. Tripp has been perfect. He slept the whole way home.
