Puppy Bowl IX - What Channel and at What Time Will it Air?

Tune to Animal Planet on Sunday prior to Super Bowl XLVII for a cuteness overload. Puppies, kittens and hedgehogs -- what could be more adorable?

Take 63 puppies playing faux football and add nine hedgehog cheerleaders in tutus and 21 kittens performing during a halftime show and you've got what might be an overload of cuteness — it's Puppy Bowl IX!  Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl IX will air from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Los Angeles Times sums up the premise: During the low-key football game, the puppies are placed on a 3-by-6 yard field with a bunch of plush chew toys shaped like footballs, ducks and sausages and are left alone to play. Eventually a puppy will manage to drag a chew toy into an end zone and the referee, Dan Schachner, will declare a touchdown has been scored. So It's the 49ers and Ravens in the Super Bowl - Does That Change Your Plans?

With dreams shattered of it being the Falcons in the Big Easy next month, will you be changing your Super Bowl Sunday plans?

It would have been the perfect end to a dream season, the Atlanta Falcons facing the Ravens or New England Patriots in the Big Easy on Super Bowl Sunday. But it was not to be. After a strong start, the Falcons faded in the NFL Championship game on Sunday, giving up the lead to eventually fall 28-24 to the San Francisco 49ers. New England fans also were disappointed as the Baltimore Ravens head to the Super Bowl after defeating the Patriots 28-13 in the AFC Championship game on Sunday night. So it will now be the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens that will be facing off in New Orleans on Feb. 3 for Super Bowl LXVII. What does that do to your plans?
