Snow Make-up Days Scheduled for Oconee Schools
The Oconee County District School Office has set the dates for making up the missed school days this week due to winter weather.
Oconee County School Superintendent John Jackson released a letter Friday announcing the snow make-up dates scheduled to replace the school days missed this week. In a letter to school parents, students and staff, Dr. Jackson said Oconee students will be making up three of the five days missed this week due to icy road conditions. The two other days missed will be "forgiven" for students as permitted by provisions in Georgia State Law.
