Sex Offender Jailed for Allegedly Urinating on Relative
The 24-year-old man hadn't registered with authorities since 2006, according to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
A convicted sex offender who'd failed to register with authorities since 2006 was captured Thursday, according to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were dispatched to a Garrett Road residence around 3 p.m. where a 58-year-old man told them his roommate, who's been living with him for more than a year, had urinated on his left leg and foot during an argument, according to an incident report. The 24-year-old suspect was "found standing in the hallway wearing only a tank top t-shirt," a deputy wrote in the report. The deputy put handcuffs on the man and gave him a towel to cover up.
