For the first time in over a month, the national average for gasoline dropped today --by one tenth of a cent-- to $3.984 for regular, CNNmoney.com has reported. To help you at the pump, we've compiled a sampling of prices for regular unleaded gasoline in the Oconee area. We've found the best prices for gas in Oconee County and here's the lowdown.
UPDATE: The gas price at Quick Trip (QT) on the Oconee Connector (at Mars Hill turn-off) dropped its gas prices four cents from Friday night, $2.78, to Saturday night, $2.74. It's headed in the right direction! Check back for more updates on the cheapest gas in town. With the price of gas increasing to the unheard of $3 a gallon, we've tracked down, just for our Patch friends, the best deal on gas in Oconee County.
