Funeral Arrangements Announced for Christopher William Welch
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Aug. 22.
Funeral arrangements have been announced for Christopher William Welch, 26, an Athens native. Welch, a tree surgeon, died in a work-related accident in Madison County on Aug. 17, authorities reported. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Lord and Stephens, EAST, according to an obituary notice. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22 at the chapel of the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at First American Bank for Welch's children.
