'Side Effects' Movie Reviews: You'll be on the Edge of Your Seat

The psychological thriller starring Jude Law, Channing Tatum and Rooney Mara excites critics. Will you see it?

  With "Side Effects," director Stephen Soderbergh takes on the doctor/patient relationship; Big Pharma; intimacy; and a host of other issues. If I told you how it works out, you would tar and feather me as The World's Worst Spoiler. Suffice it to say the movie gives us Emily Taylor (Rooney Mara of "Girl With a Dragon Tatoo"), who's reuniting with her husband Martin (Channing Tatum). Martin has spent four years in prison for insider trading, meaning that Emily had to fend for herself as she coped with a less than six-figure income. Have you seen the film? ‘Magic Mike’ Reviews: Great for a Girls' Night Out

Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum head up the studly cast of an all-male revue in “Magic Mike.”

“Magic Mike” tells the story of an aspiring entrepreneur pursuing the American dream … who are we kidding? Who really cares about the plot? Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and a cast of handsome Hollywood hunks show off their best assets as strippers in an all-male revue. Possibly the worst movie of all time. Certainly in the top 5. NO plot, horrific writing/dialogue (unless you like the f-bomb in EVERY sentence), pitiful acting and a disconnected, rambling storyline. The ONLY redeemable aspect was the dance routines. I give this movie a -3 out of 10. Save you money!!!   more ›
