Car Window Smashed on Dials Mill Road
A purse and other items were stolen.
Sometime between 7 p.m. on Sept. 26 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 27, the passenger's side window of a green 1998 Toyota Corolla parked in the 2100 block of Dials Mill Road was broken and the vehicle was entered. According to an incident report on file at the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, a Coach purse containing a wallet, bank card and various cosmetic items were taken. While the deputy was at the scene, an earlier car entry incident was also reported. The victim said someone entered an unlocked work truck on the same property sometime between July 7 and July 8, 2012 and removed a Garmin nuvi GPS device.
