Regardless of which of the two candidates running for the chairmanship of the Oconee County Board of Commissioners wins on Tuesday, he is going to be confronted with an activist Board.
Candidate Regina Quick's campaign says it's also not responsible for the calls.
Applications are currently being accepted for the full-time position.
Over 1,600 Oconee County, Ga. voters have already cast ballots ahead of the July 31 primary election.
The State Road and Tollway Authority will have to approve it first though.
Charles Bullock, Richard B. Russell Professor of Political Science at the University of Georgia, sees small chance of the initiative passing.
