Watkinsville First Baptist Church offers Sunday services at 9:30am and 11am. The church's purpose statement is "Inspired by God's love, our purpose is to reflect His glory by presenting Jesus Christ to all people and leading those who believe to be wholehearted followers of Him." The pastor is Carlos Sibley and the church also has four other full-time ministers devoted to ministries: youth, college, worship and discipleship. The church has preschool and children's ministries as well as middle school, high school and college ministries. For adults, there are ministries for singles, women, men, senior adults and music. Watkinsville First Baptist also offers Sunday school, small group Bible studies and missions programs.
