Pre-K through second-grade students are Little Chiefs at the Oconee County Primary School (OCPS) in Watkinsville, located by the Oconee County Elementary and Middle Schools.
These young learners have averaged higher scores than their counterparts throughout the state on Georgia CRCT exams (third-graders).
The OCPS mission works to achieve student excellence in a "safe and positive" learning environment. The school's primary focus is on learning not only academics but respect and self-esteem as well. The faculty and staff strive to provide developmentally-appropriate programs to promote "life-long learners."
OCPS offers the Little Chiefs Online Library Catalog and helpful links for their mom's and dad's in Powerschool.
