The Malcom Bridge Middle School (MBMS) faculty and staff work to provide a safe academic environment to "foster mutual respect" to help students reach their potential as "responsible and productive" adults. The staff implements a balanced program of high expectations and instructional resources such as technological advances.

MBMS students' academic day consists of a flexible block scheduling including homeroom, connection courses  interdisciplinary courses. MBMS, Home of the Lightning, excels in standardized testing, scoring above state averages annually.
