Excellent is enough said for Dr Downs and all the office staff and the medical staff in the Watkinsville office.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years and have excellent service from the staff and physicians. They have some of the best blood draws I have ever had in my life, and I have small rolling veins! Dr. Downs is one of my favorite physicians of all time, and I have been to doctors all over the country in the last 60+ years.

My wife (who used to work there ) and I have used this office for our health care needs for approx. 15 years. Wait times have been very minimal, nurses and doctors have been very prompt to answer any questions and not act as if they had to be somewhere else or with another patient. Would recommend to anyone in need of a local medical office.

Very short wait time. Friendly employees. Healthcare is as good as any. My Doctor never seems rushed.

Customer since Dr. Downs began her practice here. Excellent service provided by Dr. D. and her assistants (Nancy especially) I have never waited untimely for an scheduled appointment. She is very professional and at the same time takes time to answer concerns. My telephone calls have been answered timely. My appointments have been made and kept in a timely. My referrals to other professionals have been timely made and coordinated. Dr. D. also treated my mother-in-law for whom I was a caregiver for several years until her death. During this stressful time, she and her team were extremely helpful to me. I rate this service as EXCELLENT.

My wait time is never over five to ten minutes, my doctor's nurse is very personable, and my doctor is very thorough. I am able to have bloodwork completed at the office, as well as bone density testing. Glad I switched to Hawthorne Medical in Watkinsville.

This business manipulated my patient history records in an attempt to reclassify me as a new patient without any verbal or written notice, ignored my symptoms and refused care of any kind despite having an empty parking lot and waiting room. This customer abuse and disservice resulted in unnecessary suffering, prolonged pain and hospital bills of more than $1100, because they would not take 10 minutes to work in a cash-paying, returning customer who had a zero balance. HMA didn't even bother to make a follow up call. Do yourself a favor and find another practice. Rated zero for no help at all.

This is not a good practice. Appointment times are not scheduled in a timely manner. I was not happy with one doctor and tried to switch to a different one within the practice and they would not allow me to.
