Your Week Ahead in Oconee: September 8-14, 2013

Government Meetings

On Monday, September 9 at 3pm, the Oconee County Board of Elections holds its September meeting at the office of the Board of Elections & Registrations, 10 Court Street, in Watkinsville.

Also on Monday, at 7pm, the Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission meets at 7pm at the Oconee County Government Annex building. The meeting is being held this week because Labor Day was celebrated last Monday.

Other meetings this week include the Oconee County Industrial Development Authority, the Board of Tax Assessors, the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Committee and others. For a full list, click here and look for "Upcoming Meetings & Events." 

Events happening this week:

The first 2013-14 meeting of the Oconee County Association of Educators will be held Monday, September 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Oconee Library, 1080 Experiment Station Road.
