Government Meetings:
The Oconee Planning Commission meets at 7pm in Courtroom 1 of the Oconee County Courthouse on Monday, October 21st.
The Oconee County Citizens Advisory Committee on Land Use and Transportation Plannng meets on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 7pm, in the Conference Room, Community Center at Oconee Veterans Park.
The Oconee County Industrial Development Authority Product Development Subcommittee meets on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 4pm in the Board of Commissioners Chambers in the Courthouse.
Other happenings:
There's a Foliage Friends workshop today, October 21st, at OCAF for small children and a supervising adult, from 10 to 11:30am. Leaves, twigs, moss and other elements from the natural environment will form the basis of art. Cost is $10.
HealthSource of Oconee, 1592 Mars Hill Road, Suite B, is sponsoring a Ladies Night on Thursday, October 24th, at 6:30pm. There will be food, prizes, games, raffles, and several local vendors under one roof selling everything from bath products, jewelry, facials, yoga, manicures and pedicures. Proceeds raised will go to fight breast cancer.
