Want to play the bagpipes?

Monday, January 6
Yes, you can learn to play the bagpipes! A beginner's class starts today at 6pm at OCAF and continues through May. The cost is nominal. For more information, click here. 

The Teen Advisory Board meets from 7 to 8pm at the Oconee County Library. The volunteer group may make book suggestions for the library, help plan teen programs such as the annual Haunted House or other exciting events, and assist with cutting, folding, assembling, or other projects.

The Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission meets at 7pm in the Government Annext Building in downtown Watkinsville.

Tuesday, January 7
The Oconee County Board of Commissioner meets in the Commission Chambers in the Courthouse at 7pm. For the agenda, click here.

Thursday, January 9
Want to learn about email? The library can help. There's a class for learning about email from 1 to 2:30pm.

Oconee Mentoring Program training is at 5:30pm today. The training is being held at the Oconee Area Resource Council 20 N. Main Street, Watkinsville, GA 30677. For more information, click here. 

At 7pm at the Oconee County Library, everyone is invited to a meeting of the Partnership for Farmland Protection. Farmer advocate Russ Page and Athens Land Trust expert Nancy Stangle will hold an informational meeting.
