Rain Will Bring Cooler Temperatures to Oconee by Mid-Week

Bundle up if you're heading out on Christmas Eve.

This week will begin with rain that will give way to sunny skies and cooler temperatures. There’s an 80 percent chance of showers—sometimes heavy--on Monday, with a high of almost 60 and wind gusts as high as 15 miles an hour. After the rain ends, the temperature drops markedly to the low 30s.

Christmas Eve will be sunny, with a high near 47 and a west wind some 30 mph. Bundle up if you’re heading to a late church service: the low will be 24.

Christmas Day will be sunny, with a high around 46 and a low at night of 28. Thursday will be sunny and warmer, with a high in the low 50s and a low around 30.
