On Saturday, October 8, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. the Oconee Parks and Recreation Department is asking for volunteers to help with litter pickup at Harris Shoals Park and a creek cleanup. OCPRD has done this for a number of years and it is helpful in keeping the creek and park looking nice. it is always a rewarding experience, complete with a sense of “giving back."
