Oconee County High School will host the 2012 Nike Basketball Camp for players ages eight to 15 (grades third to ninth). Camp will run June 11 to June 15 and the cost to attend is $230 per player.
The camp will be broken into two parts with individual skills and station instruction in the morning and team, 3 on 3 competitions, in the afternoons. Campers will participate in one 5 on 5 game each day.
Nike camps boast a player to coach ratio of 8:1 and are staffed by high school and college coaches and players. Assisting Nike staff will be OCHS varsity boys head coach Michael Youngblood. Camp is limited to 48 players with each participant receiving a Nike camp shirt, Nike yearbook, Nike camp certificate and a hand written evaluation from the coaching staff.
