The NOHS boys’ and girls’ tennis teams won the Region 8-AA tennis tournaments on Thursday at . 

The 16-3 Lady Titans captured their third consecutive region championship by sweeping Fannin County, Jefferson High, and Banks County.  The girls are ranked fourth in the state.

The 17-2 Titans marched over Dawson County, Jefferson High, and Elbert County en route to their second consecutive region title.  The boys are ranked second in the state. 

North Oconee will host round one of the state tournament next week against the No. 4 seed from Region 7-AA.  Date and time to be determined.
