Titans Finish First and Second in Five-Team Track Meet

The boys recorded 119.5 points and the girls scored 97 at Titan Stadium on Tuesday.

The boys’ track team placed first and the girls’ team placed second in a five-team meet at Titan Stadium Tuesday, March 13.  The boys recorded 119.5 points and the girls scored 97.  First-place finishers for North Oconee were:

  • Dorie Faber, girls 3200-meter run, 12:56.54
  • Boys 4x100 meter relay team (Ugonnah Akoh, Nick Colvin, Kawon Bryant and Kevin Brannon) 44.09
  • Olivia Pigg, girls 1600-meter run, 5:58.39
  • Cole Thornton, boys 1600-meter run, 4:48.32
  • Olivia Brown, girls 200-meter dash, 27.61
  • Ugonnah Akoh, boys 200-meter dash, 23.89
  • Andrew Teare-Ketter, boys 300-meter hurdles, 43.89
  • Caroline Brown, girls long jump, 16-0
  • Kawon Bryant, boys triple jump, 42-01
  • Isaac Toney, boys pole vault, 13-0

Select Titans will compete in the Barberitos Invitational at on Saturday.  North Oconee hosts a tri-meet at Titan Stadium Tuesday, March 20 after school.
