North Oconee Girls, Boys, Split with East Jackson
The Titan basketball squads have an up-and-down night away from home.
COMMERCE -- The Lady Titans beat the East Jackson Lady Eagles by a score of 60-30 on the road Tuesday night.
The boys' team wrestled with the Eagles the entirety of their game but ended up losing 49-38.
The Lady Titans took advantage of the openings East Jackson gave them and took the game from the beginning.
The boys' game was all about defense. The score on both sides remained low throughout the first half. The Titans picked themselves up in the second half, but it wasn't enough to put them on top.
