Local Students Compete in Tennis Tourney
NOHS rising senior Seth Taylor and upcoming OCHS senior Sam Ondo did well at the Collins Hill Jr. Summer Sweep Championships.

Two local tennis players fared well recently at a tournament in Duluth.
, a rising senior at , won the consolation round, and , a rising senior at , made it to the consolation semis at the Collins Hill Jr. Summer Sweep Championships June 7-9 at Collins Hill Athletic Club.

Wins for Taylor included a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Jashith Choppara of Duluth; a 6-2, 6-4 win over Ondo in the semis, and a 6-4, 6-0 win over Ian Krpo of Woodstock to earn the consolation title. Ondo claimed quality victories over Colby Willis of Griffin 6-0, 6-1, and Alec Rahmanian of Lawrenceville 6-1, 6-2.
