The Greater Atlanta Volunteer Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) will host the 9th annual Athens Run for the Dogs 5K and 1-mile fun run on Saturday, September 24 at Oconee Veterans Park in Watkinsville, GA. The event includes a 5K run that is part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix Series and a 1-mile fun run/walk that anyone can participate in, including dogs. In addition to the athletic competitions and canine-friendly activities, the event will also feature pet-related vendors and entertainment.
