School District Recognizes 30-Year Employees

Some are current employees while others have retired, returned, and retired again...but all have one thing in common --30 or more years of continuous service in the Oconee County School System.

For their dedication to the , Superintendent John Jackson and school board members this week recognized 10 current or retired employees who have devoted 30 years or more of their lives to enriching those of Oconee's students.

"The queen" of them all, Jackson said, is Sandra Mauldin with 38 years.  She is the school nutrition program manager at Oconee County High School.
