Summer sports registration, a school board meeting, baseball game, yoga class and orchestra performance are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.

Weather: The work week gets under way with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid 80s.  The Weather Channel predicts a 20 percent chance of rain, mainly in the form of a scattered afternoon thunderstorm. Lows overnight will dip into the low 60s.

  • The OCHS Warriors baseball team heads to Gainesville for a 5:55 p.m game.
  • A Holy Yoga Gentle class for women only takes place every Monday at 6 p.m. at Watkinsville First United Methodist Church.  Participants are asked to pay $5 per month and bring a small toy donation each class for Operation Christmas Child.
  • The forty-member chamber orchestra "The Knights" performs at the Hodgson Concert Hall at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $20-39
