Oconee School Board to Consider Adoption of Tentative FY 2014 Budget
There are also a number of recognitions on the agenda for today's meeting, including OCMS students for their selection to All-State band and CTSO/FFA students for their performances at recent state competitions.

A. Assistant Principal- Dr. Branch will introduce the new OCMS assistant principal for the 2013-2014 school year: Dallas LeDuff.

C. GMEA All State Band- The board will recognize five OCMS students for being selected to participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association All State Band. This band consists of the state's top musicians at both the middle and high school levels. Students are: Isaac Beacorn (trumpet), Kunho Kim (percussion), Hank Morris (bassoon-1st chair), Mabel Tie (clarinet), and Joseph Wallace (horn). Congratulations to these students and to their instructor, Jon Cotton.
D. Aspiring Leaders - The board will recognize the following teachers for their participation in the system's 2012-2013 Aspiring Leaders program: Tyler Boykin, Jennifer Cannon, Cari Duttlinger, Kimberly Griffith, Tony McCullers, Paula Pinkerton, Wendi Pitts, Ryan Rickard, Julie Tolbert, Jolaine Whitehead, and Michael Youngblood.
