Oconee County Schools Holding Community Engagement Session

The engagement session is one of the steps in developing a comprehensive strategic plan for Oconee County's public schools.

As part of its developing a strategic plan for the future, Oconee County School District officials are holding a community engagement session on Tuesday, September 24, at the Oconee County Civic Center.

The purpose of the session is to find out the opinions, ideas and wishes of "stakeholders" when it comes to Oconee's public schools. Stakeholders include parents, grandparents, students, school system employees, business people, artists, retirees and just about anyone else in the community who wants to see the continued success of the school district.

The session runs from 6 to 9pm. You need to bring only yourself and your ideas. Light refreshments will be provided. If you can't make the meeting, an online form will be posted on the school district's website after the meeting.
