Terry Kay Workshop: Finding Voice in the Writing of Fiction

Acclaimed writer Terry Kay will lead a workshop on "Finding Voice in the Writing of Fiction," which is critical for the success of any story.  This class will identify what voice means to each student and review ways to create the desired effect of voice. Students will consider the role of the writer, the character(s) and the reader in the development of voice. Kay will also address the use of narrative rhythm and dialogue.

In addition to the six-hour, full-day session, there will be one free follow-up session for class members to discuss their work as it relates to voice.
