Have you ever wanted to know more about computers but have been too embarrassed to ask? Our Introduction to Computers class will build your self-confidence by covering all the basics in this two session class. The first day will cover the terms related to hardware, software, drives, storage disks, peripherals, and much more. During the second day, you will learn how to navigate and use Microsoft Windows XP. Some of the topics covered include, but are not limited to: computer (hardware) parts storage devices CD burning defined peripherals the parts of a Microsoft Window maximizing, minimizing and restoring windows saving, opening and closing files using Windows Explorer creating folders moving files/folders Participants must attend both classes. The class is limited to 4 participants and registration is required.
