The State Botanical Garden will host a free "Gardening at Night" program on June 26, July 24 and August 21 from 6 pm.. to 8 p.m. Interested participants can meet at the Heritage Garden Gazebo each evening.
The group will be led by Heritage Garden curator Debbie Mitchell and International Garden curator Billie Gotsch. Topics will include lunar planting, bio-dynamics and plant lore.
Mitchell stated in a press release, "The garden looks so beautiful and different at night. Some of the best friendships I have ever had started while gardening. There is just something about gardening that lends itself to good conversations.”
