2011 Elder Rights Symposium

The Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA), the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging, the Oconee Area Resource Council, along with Georgia Cares presents the 2011 Elder Rights Symposium on Thursday, September 8, 2011.  The keynote speakers for the event are Nathanael Wright, Assistant District Attorney at the Special Victims Unit in Chatham Count and Randy Thomas, retired police officer from South Carolina.  Also Dr. Leisa R. Easom from the Rosalynn Carter Institute and Mark Franklin from the Northeast Georgia’s Elderly Legal Assistance Program will be speaking.
