Video: Colham Ferry's Power Recognized For Role As Mentor Coordinator

For her work with eleven mentors at and her service on the Mentor Advisory Committee of the , counselor Morgan Power was recognized at a January meeting of the school board.

Power received the first annual School Mentor Coordinator Appreciation Recognition. The award was presented by representatives of the Oconee Area Resource Council: Patsy Grimes, mentor program coordinator, and Ann Hester, executive director.

The Mentor Program provides an opportunity for adults and kids to form friendships and have fun. Mentors usually spend a lunch hour once a week with a child at their school.
