Robin Haas, Alexander Loyd and Hannah Toutkoushian are three of about 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise, according to a news release from the school.
Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Alex is the son of Dr. Richard and Kathleen Loyd of Watkinsville, Robin is the daughter of Allen and Beth Haas of Bishop and Hannah is the daughter of Dr. Robert and Jennifer Toutkoushian of Watkinsville.
