Voters Head to the Polls for E-SPLOST, Municipal Elections

Polls are open until 7 p.m. around Oconee County.

Poll workers at _ reported a steady stream of voters stopping by Tuesday morning to cast ballots in the City's election.

Voters are choosing between and to fill the shoes of at the end of the year.  Also on the ballot are the names of Brian Broderick and Henry Norman, incumbents for council posts 1 and 2, who are both running unopposed.  Both the mayor and council members serve 2-year terms.

In Bogart, incumbents Ralph Sheridan and TL Turman fight to hold their seats on city council against one challenger: Turman's wife, Linda.
