Oconee County Commissioners to Interview Applicants for Boards
At Tuesday's meeting, there will also be a first reading and public hearing of proposed amendments to the Unified Development Code.
Here's the draft agenda of Tuesday's 7 p.m. work session of the Oconee County Board of Commissioners:
1. Approval of Agenda
2. Statements and Remarks from Commissioners.
3. Statements and Remarks from Citizens.
4. Presentation of 1938 Central School House photograph – Blake Giles on behalf of Vinnie Williams (Oconee Enterprise).
5. Interview applicants to the Animal Control Advisory Board for three two-year terms, expiring June 30, 2015.
6. Interview applicants to the Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission for four three-year terms, expiring June 30, 2016.
7. Interview applicants to the Family and Children Services Board for two unexpired five-year terms, expiring June 30, 2014 and June 30, 2017; and one five-year term expiring June 30, 2018.
8. 1st Reading and Public Hearing of the proposed amendments to the Unified
Development Code – B.R. White and Brad Callender.
9. Public Hearing and consideration of Resolution of Submittal for the Five-Year Short Term Work Program 2013 to 2017 – B.R. White.
10. Discuss authorization of contracts for grounds maintenance for Oconee Veterans Park – John Gentry.
11. Discuss authorization of contracts for grounds maintenance for Heritage Park – John Gentry.
12. Discuss Memorandum of Agreement for space occupied by the Department of Human Services – Jeff Benko.
13. Discuss Mutual Aid Agreement with the University of North Georgia – Jeff Benko.
14. Discuss identification of parcels for business/industrial use – B.R. White and Daniel Haygood.
