Three Suffer Minor Injuries After Four-Vehicle Accident

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Watkinsville police and medical units responded to Whitehall Road at Calls Creek Drive on June 5 about 6:15 p.m. after a 2007 Toyota Tacoma skidded into the back of a stopped 2001 Toyota 4-Runner.

According to a report from Police Chief Lee O'Dillon, the 4-Runner was forced into the back of a 2003 Ford Mustang which was then pushed into the rear of a 1997 Ford Explorer. The Toyota Tacoma then overturned. A line of traffic had stopped due to a vehicle attempting to make a left turn, he said,

Three people suffered minor injuries. A 26-year-old man from Pine Hill Road was charged with following too closely.
