Watkinsville Police Report Several Accidents Last Week but no Serious Injuries

  • Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 1:14 p.m. a 1996 Toyota Corolla backed from a parking space into the front of a 2006 Hyundai Azera at the Town Center complex. No one was injured but both vehicles were damaged. The driver’s view was blocked by a large truck.

Neither driver was seriously injured.  One of the drivers, age 37, of Watkinsville, was charged with following too closely.
  • Police stopped a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 after observing the pick-up weaving along Main Street at 2:18 Thursday morning, Oct. 25.
