Watkinsville Police Handle Three Traffic Accidents

The information in this story comes from the Watkinsville Police Department.

At 12:30pm on Monday, January 13th, police were called to Baldwin Salon, at 10-B Barnett Shoals Road, after it was reported that someone had entered the building and searched the interior.  A desk drawer containing bills, and other paperwork, was broken into.  The owner is compiling a list of missing items.

Thursday, January 16th, at 8:02am,. police responded to Main Street, approaching Experiment Station Road, after a 2003 BMW 325 and a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban were involved in a minor mishap. No one was injured and only minor damage was done.

At 10:36 Thursday morning a 2007 Cadillac was bumped from behind by a 2002 Honda Accord on Experiment Station Road at North Main Street.  There were no injuries and only minor damage was done to the cars.

Friday morning at 9:56, a 2001 Honda Accord was hit from behind by a 2001 GMC Yukon on Experiment Station Road at North Main Street.  No one was injured.  John Mocko, 70, of Crawford, was charged with FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY. 

During the week ending Sunday, January 19th, the Watkinsville Police Department responded to twenty-eight (28) calls for assistance inside the City.
