Watkinsville Police: Disagreement Over Belongings

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

In his weekly news release, Watkinsville Police Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the other incidents that police responded to during the week ending on Aug 12:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 6:15 p.m. police were called to a Jeremy Drive address concerning a child visitation dispute. One parent arrived to pick-up a 9 year old for visitation but the child was not there. The child was away at a sports function and the other parent was not told ahead of time.
  • Sunday afternoon, Aug. 12, police were called to a dispute at a Morrison Street address. One person was served with a written notice to stay away from the residence due to a disagreement over some belongings.

Watkinsville police responded to a total of 28 calls within city limits between Aug. 6-12.
