Watkinsville Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

In his weekly news release, Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the incidents that police responded to during the week ending Oct. 2.

3-Vehicle Accident with Injury: On Sept. 27 around 3 p.m., police and medical units were called to Highway 15, near the Oconee County Government Annex, after a 1992 Honda Accord slammed into the back of a 1998 Honda Civic, forcing it into the back of a 2007 Ford F-150. The two Hondas sustained major damage and one of the drivers suffered a minor head injury. A 20-year-old Bogart woman was cited with following too closely.

Domestic Situation: In the early morning hours of Sept. 28, officers responded to a domestic situation at 159-A VFW Drive. Brandon Lee Bradshaw, 27, (same address) was arrested and charged with battery and cruelty to children after an altercation. Alcohol may have played a role, O'Dillon added. Bradshaw was booked into the Oconee County Jail.
