Watkinsville Man Back in Jail on Additional Child Molestation Charges
A second alleged victim has come forward, police say. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.
A 38-year old Watkinsville man is facing additional charges of child molestation and sexual battery after a second alleged victim reported abuse, according to Watkinsville Police Chief Lee O'Dillon.
Kenneth Troy Cobb was arrested again on Friday at River Oaks apartments on Will Hunter Road in Athens where he works as a maintenance man, O'Dillon said.
On Jan. 17, Cobb was arrested at the same location on a warrant that alleges molestation of a 12-year-old girl occurred between Nov. 1, 2011, and Jan. 13, 2013. He was later released on a $25,000 bond.

After that arrest became public, police learned of another alleged victim, O'Dillon said in a news release.
The new charges allege an 11-year-old girl was molested in early January of this year, according to the release.

Jail records show Cobb was booked on three counts of child molestation and one count of sexual battery of a child under 16.
Police are working with the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, Oconee County Department Of Family And Children Services, and Oconee County Sheriff’s Department on the cases.
