Wacky Police Story of the Week: Mayor Burgled, Walmart Brawl, Rabbit Murder, Police and Porn Stars, Death Threat Feuding

• There've been a lot of burglaries in Athens lately, and the most prominent victim is now Mayor Nancy Denson, who reported the theft of a few cherished items that she recently noticed missing.
• A PetSmart employee in Barrow County was shocked to find a rabbit, shot through the head, in front of the store before opening.
• A Walton County sheriff's deputy was suspended when a photo surfaced from earlier in his career that reportedly depicts him in uniform with "some porn star" who happened to not be wearing clothes.
• A feud between a man and a Dacula family led to threats of death and beatings.
