Thief Drives Off with Homemade Camper

The theft reportedly occurred at a Macon Highway address in Bishop, Ga. sometime between Dec. 5-8.

A Bishop man told Oconee County Sheriff's deputies Monday that someone had entered his property , hooked up a small homemade camper/trailer to a vehicle and drove off with it.

The camper, made of plywood and covered with sheet metal, had been located at a property in the 4800 block of Macon Highway.Β  The victim estimated it's value at over $1,500.

The theft reportedly occurred sometime between 8 a.m. on Dec. 5 and noon on Dec. 8.
