Taylors Court Resident Sees Man Rummaging Through Mitsubishi

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

Around 6:30 Sunday morning, a resident of Taylors Court stepped outside and interrupted someone searching the interior of his parked Mitsubishi, according to Watkinsville Police. The suspect then fled on foot.  Nothing appeared to be missing from the car.

The victim told police that the man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves, but he was unable to provide a detailed description, Police Chief Lee O'Dillon said.

Police later questioned a 19-year-old Watkinsville man who had been picked up on unrelated charges by Oconee County Sheriff's deputies, but officers did not file a charge against him at that time related to the entering auto, O'Dillon explained.
