Simple Assault and Shoplifting Charges Appear in Latest Oconee County Arrest Report

The following information was supplied by the Oconee County Jail. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

The following information was gathered from Oconee County Jail booking reports:

June 5

  • Charles Kevin Mathews, 42, of Lexington was charged with possession of a drug related object.
  • Robert Bruce Lang, 42, of Columbus was charged with probation violation.
  • Zachary Scott Lester, 18, of Watkinsville was charged with probation violation.
  • Brandon Michael Kutch, 21, of Bogart was charged with probation violation.
  • Joshua Lamar Scott, 22, of Athens was charged with probation violation.
  • Shanquette Sheree Reid, 21, of Athens was charged with theft by shoplifting.
  • Dianne Nicole Nash, 18, of Athens was charged with theft by shoplifting.

June 4

  • Alberto Jose Matta, 34, of Athens was charged with no license and a tag light violation.
  • Lisa Nicole Grizzle, 34, of Jefferson was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

June 3

  • Henry Francis Dionne, 42, of Athens was charged with simple assault.
  • Preston Pike, 22, of Bishop was charged with failure to appear.
  • Melvin Todd Minish, 34, of Monroe was charged with failure to appear.
  • John Frederick Elder, 36, of Watkinsville was charged with theft by shoplifting.
  • Reinaldo Rogque Rivera, 43, of Bishop was charged with no license and failure to maintain lane.
