Victim's Video Footage Helps Sheriff's Office Identify Attempted Robbery Suspects

A skeptical buyer looking to purchase an iPhone from two men he met on Craigslist videotaped the incident in the Kroger parking lot Monday night.

Two Bogart men allegedly attempted to rob a man in the parking lot Monday around 8 p.m, the reports.

The victim agreed to meet the men in order to purchase an iPhone, Chief Deputy Lee Weems said. The transaction was arranged on Craigslist and the victim decided to conceal a video camera to capture it on tape, he said.

When the victim met with the men, he says they tried to rob him but he was able to get away before they could take his money, Weems said.

Video footage of the incident can be viewed on the Sheriff's Office Facebook Page.

Investigators were able to obtain still images of the suspects from the video and identify the men as Michael Anthony Fulcher, 33, and Timothy Shane Fulcher, 29, both of Bogart, the Sheriff's Office reported. Warrants have been issued in their names for criminal attempt of robbery.
