A shotgun valued at $400 was taken from a residence in the 1200 block of Rockinwood Drive, located in the IvyWood subdivision, sometime between 7:12 a.m and 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 13.
A resident told Oconee County Sheriff's deputies he arrived home to find to front door ajar. There was damage to the door, sofa cushions overturned, drawers and cabinet doors open, and several items had moved from their original locations, according to an incident report.
At the time of the report, the victim said he believed the shotgun was the only item that was taken.
The case is under investigation.
